This video shows a screen tutorial on how to insert a pdf printout and file into OneNote for Windows 10. Adding a pdf to OneNote has many uses such as storing a reference document, creating a template to fill in or using a planner page template.
In this episode of the Take Note Chat, educator and ed tech geek Tracey Smith shows us how to use Wakelet with OneNote! Wakelet’s integration with OneNote was announced just a few weeks before filming this episode!
About Tracey Smith:
Tracey Smith has been an elementary school teacher in Texas for the past 7 years and is passionate about integrating technology into her classroom and all areas of her life. Prior to teaching Tracey worked in the HR and Recruiting fields, and it seems keeping on top of technology has always been a top priority for her.
Tracey is currently working on making the transition from classroom teacher to Instructional Technology coach as she’s passionate about helping teachers learn to effectively integrate technology in their classrooms. This summer she’ll be presenting at the TCEA (Texas Computer Education Association) Elementary Technology Conference in Galveston Texas on how Teachers can use OneNote in the classroom, as well as at several other educator technology conferences.
When not doing “teacher things” Tracey is a wife and step-mother to two wonderful grown children and enjoys riding her paint horse Dolly or her Harley Davidson Trike anywhere she can!
In this video, I show you how I review April and set up my May plans. You’ll also see how planning in advance can be helpful when you have other things going on like family medical issues!
April is done and here is my completed calendar! I like to write down something good interesting that happened every day. This page is a pdf document that I insert into OneNote. To see how to do that, click here.
Special guest and organization wiz Denise Vajdak joins me live to share how she keeps her life organized with OneNote!
Here’s just some of what Denise does:
Denise Vajdak (pronounced VY-dock) is an Aggie, class of ’92, and has been an Administrative Assistant at the City of Bryan, Texas for over 23 years and has been in the Information Technology department for the last 15. She has been creating and presenting trainings on Microsoft Office products since 2008 and is a OneNote enthusiast and was thrilled to be a presenter at the Learn OneNote Conference in 2018.
Denise is a single mom of a young man in college, a 13-year-old Rat Terrier and new kitty. She enjoys Munzee (a world-wide scavenger hunt game), working in her yard, travelling when she can and is an active member of her church handling their website, social media and Sunday morning PowerPoints. Denise has also been actively involved in the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) since 2008.
March was an eventful month! My husband broke his tibia in a skateboard, but even with that and surgery I still found some good things to add to my calendar!
In this video, I show you the 8 options in the picture menu in OneNote. This menu appears once you have inserted a picture into OneNote, and is just one place within OneNote where you can find options for working with images.
OneNote does not get enough credit for lending itself to creativity! This is my completed February calendar – I try to write down something good that happened each day!
